The Role
An exciting opportunity awaits in their operations team at their head office in Melbourne. This role has it all, from operational duties to customer interaction, reporting and billing. This position will challenge and extend your experience in import/transport logistics processes to ensure you are well placed for a long term career path in this industry!
Responsibilities
- Checking status of shipments
- Coordinating deliveries for FCL, LCL and Airfreight shipments
- Organising delivery of cargo and collecting payment prior to delivery
- Building relationships with customers and resolving queries
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure high level efficiency
- Resolve issues with service providers
Essential Requirements
- Proven transport experience within a Forwarding environment
- Previous experience with Cargowise is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communications skills
- Great customer service attitude
- Solid problem-solving skills; demonstrate initiative and has an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Full Australian working rights
