The Client

The Role

We are seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead, support, and develop a skilled and experienced team. This role involves motivating the team, managing client interactions, and driving operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

  • Oversee the implementation and onboarding of new clients.
  • Ensure proactive management of client purchase orders in accordance with client SOPs.
  • Handle client escalations and resolve issues effectively.

Productivity and Profitability

  • Review client portfolios to ensure optimal team resourcing and productivity.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance productivity within the client portfolio.
  • Drive projects to improve operational performance and support clients' supply chain processes.

Team Development

  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ensure the team maintains strong knowledge of supply chain operations.
  • Identify and support training and development needs for team members

Collaboration and Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with key internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Enhance stakeholder engagement and collaboration.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Proven experience in managing or supervising a Customer Service team within the International Logistics or Freight Forwarding sector.
  • Career-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business experience.
  • Experience in client implementation, management, and performance.
  • Ability to work effectively within a structured KPI environment.
  • Excellent initiative, drive, and passion for the role.
  • Experience with Cargowise is highly regarded.
