The Role-
You will be a key team member ensuring the timely delivery of cargo to customers for Air freight shipments with some ocean frieght. This role requires high level organisation and attention to detail as well as amazing customer service skills. You can take satisfaction in meeting and exceeding your customers expectations on a daily basis.
Responsibilities-
- Checking availability of cargo and pay charges through the ICS system
- Arranging & monitoring AQIS/Customs inspections
- Organising delivery of cargo and collecting payment prior to delivery
- Liaising with internal department to expedite the pick up and delivery of documentation
- Building relationships with external transport companies to ensure effective management of deliveries
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure high level efficiency
- Resolve issues with service providers/customers
Essential Requirements-
- Previous experience with Cargowise is preferred
- Proven Cartage experience within a Forwarding environment
- Forwarding experience beneficial
- Excellent communications skills
- Great customer service attitude
